The 2012 Calendar Wheel is first and foremost a portrait of God. 

Due to this honor the symbol chosen to represent God is placed in the center of the mandala and the rest of the rings are all symbolic emanations of the One.

God in this case being impersonal and asexual, omnipotent and infinitely patient , enduring and without comprehension.

Center Circle:THE OHM. (AUM)

The ohm is chosen to represent God for it is known as both a sound and an energy.
 Also represented by the Greek letter OMEGA, the ohm used here is Hindu.  Symbolizing ‘the Absolute’. Western science allots the ohm equal to ONE volt.  Known as the ‘sound of the sun’ and/or the  ‘sound of light’ It is the root and base or all sounds. When spoken as a mantra the ohm is said to balance and heal the human body.

1st Ring: The NAME and the Four DIRECTIONS
The Tetragrammaton IHVH is the four-letter name of GOD. The Latin translation of Jehovah.

Represent the four ‘worlds’ inhabited by GOD.

Letters are derived from Exodus Chap14 versus 19, 20, & 21- each of which in the original hebrew were comprised of 72letters each. That is, each sentence had 72 letters in it.

The thirteen cards of each suit represent: 13 lunar/ hebrew months of the year, 13 members of the last supper, 13 members of a witches coven, 13 letters in the runic alphabet

All tarot are arranged in order from 0-22 to the four knights if plotted on an eleven pointed star moving clockwise around the edges. (in otherwords start at the FOOL 0 and then count 11 spaces clockwise till you reach I then continue 11 spaces clockwise till you reach II and so on. Forms an endless star.

20th Ring: 36 spaces which arrange the lower Arcana of the Tarot to their suits (4 quadrants)

Color coded chronologically beginning with red moving clockwise with English name, Chinese character, and Chinese name

this ring is the only ring which doesnt align with the circle- it simple shows the 12 animals of the chinese zodiac and their order of progression.

the year 2012 is the year of the Dragon- one of the most powerful of mystic animals in Chinese folklore.
